Doris Bell, LICSW became a License Social Worker in 2000. She went on to become a License Clinical Social Worker in 2004. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Norfolk State University in 1995. She went on to gain her Masters in Social Work at Adelphi University in 2000.
Doris has worked in various settings; including a nonprofit community-based counseling center, private for-profit hospital setting, hospital community-based mental health clinic, Private practice, nursing homes and assisted living facility.
Doris is a client focused therapist. She doesn’t push an agenda. She assists clients in identifying their own goals and developing objectives to execute productive progress. She assist clients in becoming aware that they are not alone and change is possible. Doris helps the client become solution focused through normalizing, positive feedback, encouragement and CBT.
Doris works with children, adolescents, adults and senior citizens utilizing individual client centered modalities.
